Happy New Year!
Hello, Brick Hillians, and welcome to the Year of 2018! We'll start this year off fresh and ready to take on whatever comes at us, but first of all, let's reflect on what's happened in the past month.
Firstly, we will be announcing the winners of the Winter Building Contest!
Just over 50 of you entered, and we were overwhelmed with the quality and diversity of the builds sent in over the past month (at least no one sent anything late in for the Halloween contest)! It was a hard decision, but among the staff we were able to call out these lucky fellows:
Well done to all those that won, and a thank you to all those who entered (you'll all receive a little participation prize!) Here's a little tribute now to some more of the creations that stood out to us staff, but unfortunately didn't make the cut for the top 5; Angry, IONUT1234, Crew, British, Dictionary, Rainbow, and Zangoose.
The winners (and participants) should get their items within the next few days, so don't panic if you don't see them in your Crate right away.
While some of the gifts still have yet to open, we promise to have opened them all by the end of January. Throughout the next months, you'll be able to see Brick Hill grow and expand as a community of avid builders and forumers with diverse interests. The planned updated site is nearing the end of it's completion and will hopefully be ready for testing soon, and we're happy to announce that we now have two active C++ programmers working on our new client!

That's right, more! We're very happy to announce that over 600 people participated in getting presents for the Brick Hill Christmas and 1883 gifts were handed out, the first user to get one being the lovely Jefemy, and the last being a more unexpected Damn!While some of the gifts still have yet to open, we promise to have opened them all by the end of January.
