How did you find Brick Hill?

  • I founded the game with brick-luke.

Did you know anyone on the staff team before joining?

  • Well, I've known blueham since I was 9 years old, I met nesstron in high school, and I've met up with Cloth before he had a huge presence here.

What do you love the most about working for Brick Hill?

  • I love working with the team and brainstorming ambitious new ideas, especially when we get to present them to the community!

What's your position on the team?

  • I'm CEO, which means I get all of the credit for none of the work!

What is your favorite game on Brick Hill?

  • Count Blockula's Mansion from Halloween 2017 is probably still one of my favorites. As for user-made games, really anything by Tylorfoot because of the talented scripting.

Do you have a favorite item?

I really like Dreadful Locks.

How did you get a job at Brick Hill?

  • I made it, so naturally I knew I was best for the job!

Where do you see Brick Hill 5 years from now?

  • In 2024. But seriously, I'd like to see it as a diverse platform that allows people to play and interact with others, as well as allowing the developers to work together to create great games based on great ideas.

Any special projects you working on now?

  • Everybody knows we're working on the new client right now, but fewer might know that we've been completely remaking and revamping the avatar system and customization, so I look forward to that being released!

Have anything else you like to share with us?

  • I really love space, and I love working with the community to see what you think of our work. Oh, and stay in school!

How did you find Brick Hill?

I heard about it when Blox City was still a thing; Tetris (brick-luke) and I were friends, however I was briefly inactive when he was promoting it. I barely missed beta, but I ended up signing up the day it opened to the public.

Did you know anyone on the staff team before joining?

I knew brick-luke, Jefemy, Egg, Executive, Tech, Dragonian, and Isaiah, all from Blox City. I actually used to bully Egg on the forums (<3).

What do you love the most about working for Brick Hill?

The other staff members. They're all super funny and I like most of them more than some of my real life friends.

What's your position on the team?

I moderate stuff.

What is your favorite game on Brick Hill?

Funnily enough, the client doesn't work on my computer, so I've never actually played a game on Brick Hill (sad, right?). The old old old client used to work for me though, so I was able to play the 2017 Egg Hunt, so I guess that's my favorite since it's the only one I've ever played. :-/

Do you have a favorite item?

I've always loved the Salmon Egg of Unearthly Wrecks. Too bad I wasn't able to get it. ;-;

How did you get a job at Brick Hill?

I had become pretty good friends with brick-luke and spacebuilder, and eventually they offered me a job.

Where do you see Brick Hill 5 years from now?

Hopefully still a thing, and much bigger and better than it is now. Hopefully I still have my job too (heh).

Any special projects you working on now?

My friend and I have been working on music together for a bit now, if you want to listen to it you can here: https://soundcloud.com/tsukandnawn (shameless plug).

Did you know anyone on the staff team before joining?

Yes, I knew brick-luke, Isaiah, aesthetic and aeo.

What's your position on the team?

I am an Asset Developer for the Brick Hill team.

What is your favorite game on Brick Hill?

I personally do not have a favorite game on Brick Hill. But if I had to pick one, I’d have to pick the Brick Hill Egg Hunts, they are well put together and loads of fun to play.

My favorite item on Brick Hill is Felix the Cat.

How did you get a job at Brick Hill?

I was asked to join the staff team by aesthetic.

How did you find Brick Hill?
I had been working for another similar site before (it was really bad), and the name "Brick Hill" was thrown around a lot and was usually used as a comparison to what the site should strive to be. After leaving the site, I decided to join the Brick Hill Discord.

Did you know anyone on the staff team before joining?
I did not.

What do you love the most about working for Brick Hill?
The staff team is quite dynamic. Each member knows one another, and as corny as it sounds, the staff team functions as a family more than anything. Working for Brick Hill also means I get to work with an amazing community full of interesting people. There's also really good memes.

What's your position on the team?
I am a Game Developer, working on the Brick Hill Workshop and Client.

What is your favorite game on Brick Hill?
Hide N' Seek, whoever made that is really talented and must be really sexy!

Just kidding, I quite like Tylorfoot's "Cylinder Search" game series.

Do you have a favorite item?
I've always liked the Clumsy Lumberjack as it was the first ever asset that I created for Brick Hill.

How did you get a job at Brick Hill?
It's quite an interesting story. I had joined the Brick Hill Discord and posted a few images of the assets I made for the other site I mentioned before (I was an asset developer before I was a game developer), and brick-luke saw these and decided to give me a chance. After speaking with him, I became Staff and have been working for Brick Hill ever since.

Where do you see Brick Hill 5 years from now?
I see it as a developed platform for users to make their creations come to life. I see the current issues of the site and client today improved, and the Brick Hill community grown.

Any special projects you working on now?
I am (supposed to be) working with Ezcha to develop the Brick-Hill Workshop and Client. I also sometimes make Brick Hill games, but cry after a piece of code doesn't work and then promptly scrap the whole game.

How did you find Brick Hill?

I was told by a user who goes by the name “Satan” (aka exertioz)

Did you know anyone on the staff team before joining?

I briefly talked to brick-luke as I was interested in joining the staff team, we ended up becoming really good friends.

What do you love the most about working for Brick Hill?

The atmosphere, environment, and all around dedicated fanbase. Also the staff team, they’re like family!

What's your position on the team?

I moderate the site as a whole, basically, we make sure to keep the site safe for our users to enjoy.

What is your favorite game on Brick Hill?

Has to be “bikini bottom” by FireCatMagic. Very random but it’s a throwback to my early days on Brick Hill, good times.

Do you have a favorite item?

Rotten Egg, you know why. (not many people will understand the description, it’s an inside joke)

How did you get a job at Brick Hill?

Like mentioned previously, I started talking to brick-luke and the other staff members. We got close and he let me on the team. I had some rough moments and quit multiple times but I’m here to stay.

Where do you see Brick Hill 5 years from now?

I only see it growing, I honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come. It’s amazing to see the growth and progress. Even though I play such a small role in this site, it means a lot to me.

Any special projects you working on now?

Not really. I’m currently finishing up my sophomore year of high school and planning to volunteer at a local hospital for some experience.

Have anything else you like to share with us?

Fun Fact: My original username was going to be “Pirate” but exertioz had convinced me to use “egg.”
